Undertone employees painted an underwater-themed mural at PS 185 in Manhattan. "New York Cares Day is important to our employees," stated Michael Cassidy, President and CEO of Undertone Networks. "It's a great opportunity for us to come together as a team and support this very worthwhile event."
On New York Cares Day, nearly 8,000 volunteers helped paint a brighter future for New York City students at 110 public schools throughout the five boroughs. In just one day, more than 350 murals were painted; new line games were added to dozens of playgrounds; more than 50 libraries were organized; and hundreds of flowers were planted at New York City public schools. These efforts provided over $1,000,000 in value to city schools, while raising critical funds to support New York Cares.
Undertone's involvement with New York Cares Day was organized by the company's Interactive Community Action Program. The Interactive Community Action Program is an employee-driven committee that helps plan, coordinate and execute the company's philanthropic activities. Through the program, Undertone is giving back to the communities it serves and coming together as a company to support vital community initiatives.
